crickets outside my bedroom window
the foghorns in San Francisco
calling to each other eerily in
the early morning.
Nah Und Fern by GAS
(near and far)
that one song by Enya that was
on Widow’s Bay at comical moments
maybe it’s the rain returning
or
overcoming a life threatening illness
which i wrote about (here)
but
i feel melancholy af
and have been reaching for ambient records
more than usual.
and for me that often means
LEAVING RECORDS
one of the only labels to take
an outspoken stance
supporting the liberation of the
Palestinian people
Water world by Aisha Vaughan and
Cloud Suites by Nico Georis
listening to records conceived
by looking at clouds
and thinking about water
it heals me.
